Great blog entry!!!  Re: feeds for your communities, you have several options.

1.  You can use a feed reader that runs on your computer.  The majority of the readers allow you to specify a username/password for those feeds that are protected (such as the ones from Greenhouse).

2.  Alternatively, why not share/read feeds inside your Greenhouse Community ?  Lotus Connections has a feed aggregator that lets you consume, not only feeds from within Greenhouse, but also feeds available externally.
